Widening the Circle: A BIPOC In Gathering 2025 is sponsored by the Racial Justice Task Force of CVUU to uplift the history, culture and traditions of people of color. On Sept 7th, Dr. Qiyamah Rahman, executive Director of Sister SoUUrce, author of "On the Rough Side of the Mountain" and 2020 UUA Minns Lecturer will be special guest. Coastal Virginia Unitarian Universalist (CVUU) will host BIPOC Pride Weekend Sept. 12-14th as we continue to build a more diverse, inclusive community. Dr. Yvonne V. Delk, a UCC minister, a national speaker, and social justice activist will be our closing morning speaker on September 28th.
