The Catholic Church is hemorrhaging young people at an alarming rate. The statistics are troubling: 6.5 people leave the Catholic Church for everyone that joins, and 50% of young people who were raised Catholic are no longer. Many non-Catholic and nominal Christians say they are “spiritual” and don’t need religion, often thinking Catholic doctrines over-complicate the simple gospel message.
