About this event
With many parts of the world in turmoil and our collective moral compass adrift, while our willingness to risk personal harm for the sake of a greater good appears to be diminishing, how can we ensure that Tibet’s culture, environment, basic rights and religion are protected and why does it matter?
ICT Chairman Richard Gere and Jetsun Pema, Sister of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, initiator and prime mover of the Tibetan Children’s Village school system will discuss this and more.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the work of the International Campaign for Tibet. The International Campaign for Tibet promotes human rights, democratic freedoms and self-determination for the Tibetan people.
ICT is a 501c3 organization based in Washington, D.C.
