Who Looks After the Sea? with Emily in Cornwall
Overview
Emily Cunningham, a marine conservationist, will introduce us to the amazing animals and habitats found in UK seas - from the smallest shore creatures to the giants that live further offshore. We’ll investigate the big threats facing our oceans, from plastic pollution to overfishing, and see what people are doing to protect marine life.
We’ll also discover the wide range of coastal careers, from scientists to community champions, and how young people can start helping the ocean right now.
There’ll be time for your students to put their questions directly to Emily during the live Q&A. Afterwards, pupils can design their own marine protection poster to spread the message in school or at home.
