A timid teenage girl fights to prolong the lives of her young classmates as they wait for rescue after their school bus gets stuck in a massive blizzard on the Colorado prairie in 1931. Inspired by true events.
About the Writer/Director: Julie Speer Jackson is a 4th Generation Coloradan who created PBS’s iconic Colorado Experience, including an episode on this very story. She is a Regional Colorado Film Commissioner, and serves on the boards of Women in Film & Media Colorado and Truce Media Collective. Her family is from the Eastern Plains. This a family story generations in the making.
