Everyone is welcome to join us for a traditional *latihan* (training) in the signature self-defense stye of PGB White Crane Silat (Kung Fu).

This introduction will quickly engage you in heritage practices that build foundational strength, mobility, agility and coordination, with added focus on embodiment, balance, and grace.

Each class is comprised of a unique blend of warmups and training. Acrobatics and groundwork for strength and resistance for navigating the literal pits and falls of life. Develop flow and deepen your inherent grace through forms inspired by animals, plant life, and the spirit of legendary Buddhist figures. Heighten your awareness and proprioception with a unique take on partner work and sparring called "tui cu" that is rooted in play.

All levels of fitness experience and body types are welcome! Instruction will be tuned for individual needs, and provide everyone a growth path whether you’re here to supplement other movement practices, or want to deepen work with us.

What do classes cost?

Your first 3 classes are free while you explore. Then it's a suggested donation of $10. Always pay what you can, starting at $0. We operate as a not-for-profit. Proceeds directly subsidize cost of space rental. Additional funds support other programs and scholarships.

What do I wear?

Loose clothes that will cover your body and that you don't mind getting dirty. We train barefoot, so be prepared for your feet to be out and about.

What else should I bring?

- A water bottle - A small towel for sweat (and surprise exercises) - Optional: A small wooden dowel for skin sensitivity training

Our centuries-old natural movement techniques will target core strength and small (often neglected) muscle groups that support joint health.
