About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

About this event:

The root of the event is just to provide space for folks to connect with others who understand what it's like navigating the AEC industry from the same cultural background. By attending this event you can expect the following:

  • Connect and network with other folks who identify as Latino, Latine, Latinx, Hispanic, Chicano, Latin American etc. and who have worked in architecture & design.
  • Learn more about Milagro and their space, their mission, their community needs and how they serve the local Latino community here in Portland.

About NOMA PDX

We're a relatively new chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects and we were founded by 3 Latina students, and have focused on creating opportunities to support minorities in the Architecture Industry. The NOMA PDX chapter fluctuates between 80-100 members locally and we foster a community of individuals that enjoy learning and volunteering. This event is open to all, so if you're a NOMA member and you have a non-NOMA member friend bring them along!
