Sometimes AI is wrong. When it's wrong, it's usually confidently wrong. We’ll cover common types of AI failures such as hallucinations and sycophancy; when AI models have been incorrect accidentally; when people use AI to purposely mislead or deceive; and how to investigate whether something you see online is real or fake.

No. This workshop is intended for people who don't know about artificial intelligence and want to know more.

No. We will use a webinar format, meaning only the instructor leading the workshop will be able to have their camera on. You can use the chat feature in Zoom to ask questions.

Do I have to have a computer?

No. You can attend this workshop using your phone, tablet, or computer using the Zoom app.
