Get ready to get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing! In this beginner-friendly wheel-throwing pottery class, you’ll learn how to prepare clay, center it on the wheel, and shape a small bowl. No experience needed — just bring your curiosity and a sense of fun!
This class focuses on the process, not perfection. You’ll leave with hands-on experience and, if you’re lucky, a small greenware piece — a fragile, decorative item you can take home the same day. If you’d like to finish and glaze your piece to make it food-safe, sign up for our follow-up “Paint Your Own Pottery” class (available 3+ days after your session).

🕓 Class Details
- Duration: 2 hours
- Location: Color Cocktail Factory, 1142 W 18th St, Chicago, IL(next to Bobijoa Korean Kitchen, across from Chicago Tattoo)
- Parking: Paid street parking only — please arrive early or use public transit/Uber.
- Late arrivals: Classes start 10 minutes after the scheduled time; no entry after 30 minutes late (reschedule fee: $15).
