* Ice skating is weather permitting. The outdoor ice rinks require sustained temperatures at or below 40 degrees. Please check our weather hotline in advance of reserving your tickets.
** Dist.#200 Schools will be closed on the following days in the 2025/2026 school calendar: November 24, 25, 26, 28; December 22, 23, 26, 29, 30; January 2, 5, 19; February 16, 27.
† If a holiday or scheduled District #200 school day off falls on a weekday, all open hours will require a reservation.
†† A valid Wheaton Park District Universal ID is required and must be presented onsite with your timed-entry ticket. If you do not have a current ID, please visit the Ray Morrill Community Center or call 630-690-4880 for more information on how to obtain your ID.

Residents skate FREE!
Nonresidents (During reserve-skate hours):
Adults $7
Children (17 & Under) $5
Seniors (60 & Over) $5
*Online processing fees are additional.
Advance reservations & tickets are required and can be reserved up to seven days in advance. Reservations are valid for the selected 45-minute time slot and are non-refundable. Refunds will be issued in the event of weather-related cancellations.
Skate rentals are not available.
CENTRAL ATHLETIC COMPLEX ICE SKATING RULES
All posted rules are to be SELF-ENFORCED.
Staff are onsite EXCLUSIVELY to manage reservations, monitor ice conditions, and administer first aid when necessary.
- Wheaton Park District residents must present a valid park district-issued ID at check-in. Failure to show a valid park district ID will require ticket payment at the nonresident rate.
- Rink access is only available during posted hours and with a pre-purchased, timed-entry ticket.
- Tickets must be presented (printed or on a mobile device) at the admissions booth.
- Wheaton Park District residents must present a valid park district-issued ID at check-in. Failure to show a valid park district ID will require ticket payment at the nonresident rate.
- All guests must have a ticket regardless of whether they are skating.
- Children 12 or younger must be accompanied by a paid adult.
- Repeated no-shows may result in loss of skating privileges.
- Multiple days may be reserved at once within a seven (7) day window. A maximum of one (1) time slot per day may be reserved for the HOCKEY RINK for each participant. Extended time slots may be permitted on-site the day of your reservation based on capacity limits and/or other reservations. Please inquire with the rink attendant.
OPEN SKATE RINK RULES | SKATE AT YOUR OWN RISK
- No sticks, pucks, shooting devices or hockey allowed.
- Wheelchairs are permitted on the ice, if accompanied by a person wearing skates or ice cleats.
- Participants must keep moving.
- Roughhousing, excessive speeding or weaving through other skaters is forbidden.
- Tag and other games are prohibited.
- No jumps, spins, figure or backward skating.
