"What’s the Word?" Art Educator Meet-Up
By The Pennsylvania Art Education Association
Overview
Join PAEA Regions 2 & 3 for an Art Educator Meet-Up for experienced, early-career and pre-service art educators!
Welcome, all art educators of Regions 2 and 3! Join us for a special gathering to experience WORD: Text-Based Art and Design, an inspiring exhibition in the newly renovated Art Gallery at PennWest Edinboro. This art exhibit brings together contemporary and historical works that blur the line between reading and seeing, revealing how language can clarify or conceal, persuade or play.
Enjoy an evening together:
- Gather with local art educators and University students in Art Ed
- Make zines and explore collage techniques with supplies
- Make an insta-book, zine or pamphlet to use in your classroom
- Resource/Book Swap - Bring art/education books, publications, posters or curriculum resources to swap or give to an early-career educator (optional)
