About this event
Join us for What’s Possible for Sustainable Communities in New Jersey, a one-day convening hosted by LISC New Jersey on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at The College of New Jersey’s campus. This dynamic event will bring together a cross-section of leaders from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to explore practical, place-based solutions that strengthen New Jersey’s communities through energy resilience, economic opportunity, and sustainable development.
Rooted in the What’s Possible: Investing NOW for Prosperous, Sustainable Neighborhoods playbook—a collaboration between LISC, Enterprise Community Partners, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York—the event will showcase proven strategies that can be adapted to strengthen communities across New Jersey. Sessions will highlight ways to improve housing quality, modernize infrastructure, and advance local priorities. Attendees will include community-based organizations, developers, design and sustainability professionals, local and state officials, academics, and corporate partners, creating a forum for shared learning and collaboration.
Through panels, breakout discussions, and networking sessions, attendees will gain actionable insights into models and tools that are delivering results—helping communities invest more effectively, build local capacity, and plan for a more resilient future.
