Presenter Jake Jackson-Wolf, LCPC

Live, virtual presentation via Google Meet

Join us for a live, virtual continuing education webinar that explores the psychological experience of expectant fatherhood and equips mental health clinicians with tools to effectively assess, engage, and support fathers during the perinatal and postpartum periods. With a focus on identity development, emotional expression, and relational dynamics, the course integrates cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and inclusive clinical practices. A review of the literature on paternal mental health, case examples, self-reflection, and practical tools are offered to deepen participants’ understanding of fatherhood and to expand the scope of perinatal mental health care beyond birthing parents.
