About the Presenters:

Shannon and Kruger du Plessis are the duo behind KruShan Foundation, the only U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted solely to protecting these critically endangered charmers. They collaborate with partners in South Africa to protect the critically endangered African penguins through rehabilitation, resource provision, advocacy, and education. Their partners’ generous spirits touch them, and they share their excitement about working with the critically endangered (and adorable) African penguins. There’s something magical about working together to save a species from extinction.
