What Remains: Heirlooms, Memory, and Resistance

This storytelling night centers on the Bosnian genocide a haunting chapter in modern history that left deep scars, silenced voices, and displaced generations. Through the power of personal testimony, poetry, and narrative, survivors and descendants share their lived experiences of war, loss, survival, and the long road to healing.

This event is a space for remembrance and resistance where we confront the horrors of ethnic cleansing, honor those who were lost, and amplify the stories that history tried to erase. It is also a celebration of resilience of rebuilding identity, reclaiming memory, and carrying forward a culture nearly destroyed.

Join us as we break the silence and stand in solidarity with those who continue to live in the shadow of genocide. Whether you’re part of the Bosnian community or an ally, this night invites reflection, connection, and commitment to never forget.
