What Makes Good Honey? Australia's Only Honey Sommelier Explains

By State Library and Archives of Tasmania

Overview

Internationally trained Jessica Locarnini uses her refined senses to detect honey's unique flavours and floral sources.

Did you know that honeys can be tasted in the same way that wine can?

And that it is possible to tell where a honey came from just by its smell?

Australia's only honey sommelier Jessica Locarnini is an expert, and for one night only she'll share her honey knowledge with you.

Not only can she tell one honey from another, she can also explain what flowers the bees have sourced nectar from, and which food is best to pair with a particular honey.

This in-person event will also be available online. Please book a seat for the in-person event using the Get tickets button on this page, or use this webinar link for the livestream.
