What Comes Next? Explore Intermediate (ages 12-15)
Overview
Exploring the Intermediate (ages 12-15)
Wednesday, January 14, 6:00 - 7:00 pm in the Park House.
Childcare is not available for this event. Elementary children are welcome to attend.
As adolescents enter a period of rapid physical, social, and psychological change, they need an environment designed to meet them where they are. At Butler Montessori, our Intermediate students (ages 12–15) are supported in their quest for purpose, belonging, and real-world contribution.
Meet Emma Rodwin, Upper School Director of Education, and learn more about the Intermediate program and how it can support your child. In this session, you will learn about the physical, social, and psychological changes that occur during adolescence, how the program is uniquely designed to support the social, emotional, and academic needs of 12–15-year-old students, and some practical considerations as children transition from the Elementary to the Intermediate Program.
We encourage all Upper Elementary families, especially families with a 6th-year child to attend this event.
