We're back for our 8th year of experimental games and playful interactions, and this year, we're taking it to...CAMP WHAAAT!?

Join us for one full day of weird, summer-campy goodness, featuring:

Themed Arcade Lodges full of wild video games, both new, old, and yet-to-be-released
IT CAME FROM CAMP WHAAAT!?, a showcase of bespoke interactive installations from world-renowned artists and creators, built just for the festival
Exclusive interactive play-sessions, run by people dressed like camp counselors
Live game shows that may or may not feature spicy food and the mastering of tasks
Gorgeous Camp Whaaat!? Merit Badges, and lots of ways to earn them
A 24-foot rainbow play parachute, lawsuits be damned
The Camp Whaaat!? "Big Table of Cereal" breakfast jamboree

Frequently asked questions

What are there two ticket options?

The basic pass gets you in the door and gets you a sticker. The special festival pass also gets you a bunch of extra merch, a raffle ticket, and helps us cover the cost of folks who opt for the "pay what you can" ticket.

Should I plan to come for the full day?

Special events, talks and play sessions happen at specific times throughout the day, and you'll miss out if you can't make the entire event. That said, the arcade is open all day, and there's plenty of fun to be had even if you can only make it for an hour or two.

Is there going to be food? What's this about cereal?

We kick off the event with a huge cereal bar. We don't know what the Camp Whaaat!? mess hall staff is planning for lunch yet, but there is a lot of yelling coming out of the kitchen these days. Best not to ask.

So is this an actual summer camp? In October?

It's more like a games and play festival. But it does RESEMBLE a summer camp, in certain ways. Mostly marketing related ways.
