    Becoming a Member!

Becoming a Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society member helps promote birding through education, conservation, and scientific research for the betterment of Northwest Indiana natural habitats. If you are a National Audubon member (donor), then you are considered a chapter member of the Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society, if you live in our service area (Lake and Porter Counties). Our chapter receives a small percentage of the money for your membership (donation) to National Audubon. You can also become a chapter member at the local level on the Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society website.

Special Thanks to Audubon Great Lakes!

We extend our sincere thanks to Audubon Great Lakes for sponsoring this event. Their support helps us shine a light on the importance of protecting local wetlands and the birds that depend on them.

Audubon Great Lakes is a regional office of the National Audubon Society, working to conserve and restore critical habitats across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Through science-based restoration, community engagement, and advocacy, they protect birds like the Black Tern, Least Bittern, and Common Gallinule while empowering local communities to take action for conservation.
