Topic: Leading Through the Fog: Mindful HR Practices for Times of Transition
In today’s world of constant change and disruption, HR professionals often find themselves navigating ambiguity, unpredictability, and pressure from every angle. Join your West TN CUPA-HR colleagues for this session to help higher education HR professionals center themselves and their teams in seasons of uncertainty and institutional change.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1. Recognize the signs of emotional fatigue and "decision fog" common in higher education HR roles during seasons of rapid change or compliance stress.
2. Explore the role of mindfulness-based leadership in creating clarity, focus, and trust within HR teams and cross-campus partnerships.
3. Apply one simple, daily practice from The PIVOT Principle to improve presence, reduce reactivity, and lead more intentionally—even in the midst of conflict or chaos.
