WERG Meetup @ Alice Paul Center for Gender Justice

Meet up with members of the LPS Women's Employee Resource Group (WERG) at the Alice Paul Center for Gender Justice! The Center's annual Women's Equality Day Festival is the perfect place to network, build community, and celebrate the 105th anniversary of women's suffrage in the U.S.

It's free and open to the public - you don't need a ticket to attend, but please let us know you'll be meeting up with WERG by clicking on the orange "Get tickets" button. Check out the Center's webpage: https://www.alicepaul.org/womens-equality-day-2025/

We can meet as a group near the sign between 12:15- 12:30, or you can explore on your own if you wish. The Festival runs from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. The site is known as Paulsdale - it's the childhood home of suffragist Alice Paul. The event is free and open to the public, so feel free to bring along friends and family.

According to the Center: a panel discussion on Humanities and Democracy will be held at 12:30, a puppet show at 1:30, a NJ Historical Commission panel at 2pm, and live music at 3p.m. This year’s event will feature free tours of Paulsdale, kids’ activities, including a bounce house and craft making, a beer garden, local food trucks, live music, and 50/50 raffle opportunities.

For more info, see the Center's web page: https://www.alicepaul.org/womens-equality-day-2025/
