Wende Zine Fest: Mi Corazón: A Guided Zine Workshop for Self-Expression

Led by zinemaker and educator Renee Roldan, Mi Corazón is a guided workshop that uses zine-making as a creative check-in with the heart. Through a series of thoughtful prompts, participants will reflect on personal struggles, triumphs, memories, and hopes—and explore how identity and experience shape our inner world.

Participants will leave with a handmade mini-zine that captures their own emotional landscape. The workshop is open to all ages and experience levels, and is especially welcoming to beginners.

About the facilitator:

Renee Roldan is a cartoonist and educator from San Diego and the creator of LODO Zine. She uses zines as a platform for storytelling, healing, and self-expression.
