Gentle Yoga Session for Staff and Faculty:
For our next Belonging and Wellness Gathering, we welcome this summer Yoga session with Kelly Palma. MCNU offers this this rejuvenating and accessible gentle yoga session designed to release tension and promote relaxation. It is also designed to accommodate seasoned practitioners and beginners with gentle movements, mindful breathing, and deep stretching to help you reconnect with your body and mind.
What to Expect:
- Relaxing Environment: We'll start with grounding techniques, setting an intention for the practice.
- Mindful Breathing: We'll guide you through calming breathwork that helps reduce stress and increase focus.
- Gentle Flow: This session features slow, intentional movements to open the body, focusing on flexibility, balance, and relieving any physical tension.
- Restorative Poses: Expect to spend time in restful poses that support relaxation and recovery.
- Accessible for All: This class is open to all levels and will be adapted to suit individual needs, with options for modifications and props.

Kelly Palma is a yoga instructor and the founder of My Soulful Healing, where she creates safe and welcoming spaces for personal growth and healing. She brings yoga into K-12 classrooms and community settings, fostering well-being through body awareness and breathwork. Kelly’s yoga journey began as a young athlete seeking to manage anxiety and stress, and she now shares her practice to support collective healing. Follow her on Instagram at @mysoulfulhealing.
