When Self-Care Isn’t Optional

When the world keeps asking for more, what does caring for yourself actually look like?

A grounded evening of education, embodiment, and nervous system restoration.

Tuesday, November 19th | 5:30pm | Location TBA
A community workshop with Silvia Hazel & Michele Karlin

The world feels uncertain right now.
Everything changes faster than our bodies can keep up with—news cycles, responsibilities, emotions. This can leave us feeling unregulated while our bodies are trying to make sense of it all.

This workshop is an opportunity to learn practical tools to help you slow down.
To remember that caring for yourself isn’t indulgent—it’s necessary.
To pause long enough to notice what your body is holding, and begin releasing what’s no longer yours to carry.
To find steadiness inside yourself when the world feels anything but steady.

Together, Silvia (Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner & Nervous System Specialist) and Michele (Movement & Myofascial Release Practitioner) will guide you through a blend of science, movement, and embodiment designed to help you reconnect with yourself in real time.

You’ll explore:
🌿 How constant stress and survival mode shape your physiology and energy
🌿 What it means to practice critical self-care and how this supports immune health, hormone health, digestion and nervous system regulation
🌿 Simple, evidence-informed tools to regulate your nervous system and restore balance
🌿 Gentle self and partnered myofacial release techniques, breathwork, and restorative movement to bring the body back online
🌿 A closing integration ritual to help you leave grounded and clear

Expect conversation, connection, and practices that meet you exactly where you are.
We’ll share lemon balm tea and other nervous-system refreshments as we move through an evening of release, reflection, and return.
