Preparing for Winter
Glen Emerald Park
Wednesday, November 12, 2025 | 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
As the seasons turn, the natural world shifts into a quieter, more deliberate rhythm. Join us as we explore how the park prepares for colder days ahead. We will observe and discuss the ways plants, birds, insects, mammals, and even fungi transition into winter—through dormancy, migration, food caching, color changes, and more.
A gentle walk, a thoughtful pace, and space for curiosity.

This walk will be held rain or shine, unless conditions are dangerous.
