In the Black and Brown community, we were taught to be doers and fixers of everyone else’s problems—often excluding ourselves from proper nourishment, rest, and mental clarity. We found ourselves caring for the nation, yet the nation didn’t care for us in return—until we’re lying in a hospital bed or discombobulated by the pressures of life that could have been prevented.
I’m here as a Naturopathic Doctor, ready to remind you that you come first and that self-care isn’t selfish. How do I know this? Because it’s been my life—until I found my voice, my faith, and my purpose to help others rise out of the trenches.
I do this through energetic frequencies, listening to the body, and trusting natural resources. I want to invite you into my community of natural restoration—to correct what’s happening from within.
Showing up is half the battle, and many of us listen to the opposing voice that says, “You don’t need this,” or “You already know what to do.” If that voice is the louder one, then you’ve already been defeated.
But I’m here for those who know how to hurdle over obstacles to reach their newness.
For those of you ready to lead at a high level—I’ll see you in the room.
