Who can attend "Wellness at Folly" events?

Events are free and open to all UH students, faculty, and staff. Just RSVP via Eventbrite in advance!

Yes, space is limited for each session.

Where is "Folly" located?

Accepted Answer

Folly is an outdoor architectural art installation located on the University of Houston Main Campus, near the Blaffer Art Museum in the University Arts District.

Question 4

What should I bring?

Bring water, comfortable clothes, and a yoga mat or towel for movement-based sessions. All other materials will be provided unless noted in the event description.

Do I need prior experience  to participate in "Wellness @ Folly" activities?

Not at all! Each session is designed to be inclusive and beginner-friendly. No experience necessary.

Question 6

What if it rains or the weather is bad?

In the event of inclement weather, we will notify all registered participants via email with updates or alternate plans.

Can I attend more than one session?

Yes! We encourage you to join as many Wellness @ Folly sessions as you like. Each one offers a unique experience.

Are these events only for art students?

Nope! These events are for anyone in the UH community who’s interested in wellness, creativity, or simply taking a mindful break.

Will there be anything to eat or drink?

You’re welcome to bring your own water or snacks to enjoy before or after the session.

"Wellness at Folly" is presented by Public Art UHS and Blaffer Art Museum as part of the "Creative Ground". Partners include Crystal Yoga Studio, The Center for Healing Arts and Sciences, UH Campus Recreation, and The UH Writing Center. This series has been curated by Evangeline Curbo.
