AIF New England NextGen Network presents

Wellbeing at the Speed of Innovation: AI's Promise for Global Mental Health

As artificial intelligence transforms healthcare worldwide, a critical question emerges: Will AI amplify the global mental health crisis or become the breakthrough solution we desperately need? From Boston's innovation hubs to rural villages in India, communities are grappling with unprecedented mental health challenges while AI promises revolutionary yet isolated interventions.

Join three leading experts as they examine this pivotal collision between technology and human wellness. We'll explore how AI-powered solutions could bridge mental health access gaps in underserved Indian communities, whether ancient wellness practices can be scaled using AI, and why prioritizing mental health is important for us all.

This isn't just about the future of technology – it's about the future of human flourishing across borders, cultures, and communities. Come discover whether we're witnessing a collision course or the dawn of unprecedented harmony between artificial intelligence and holistic healing.

Proceeds benefit AIF's flagship public health program MANSI (Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative).

About MANSI: At MANSI, we are attempting to use AI applications for improved decision-making. We have piloted an application that helps in assessment of frontline workers. We are in the process of developing predictive models for early detection of undernutrition among children and identifying high-risk pregnancies.

Designed to reduce maternal and child mortality in inaccessible rural and impoverished areas, the Maternal and Newborn Survival Initiative (MANSI) utilizes a public-private partnership model to empower local communities to care for mothers and children, while improving the local health systems. Since 2009, MANSI has served nearly 440,000 pregnant women and 320,000 newborns across over 9,000 villages in 7 states and union territories.
