The Welding Education Summer Conference will be held June 15-16, 2023, at the Salt Lake Community College located at the Westpointe Campus located at 1060 North Flyer Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. The conference workshops will start each day at 8:00 am and will conclude by 5:00 pm. Included on the schedule are, industry tours, new equipment and processes, and instruction is welding art.

When does registration open? When will it close? Registration will open on April 3, 2023 at 12:00 a.m. and will close on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.

How do I register for the conference? Teachers will need to register here in Eventbrite. Please make sure if you are registering individual teachers, you have their correct email address. This is where their ticket and all information will be sent.

How do I register for multiple attendees? If you are registering multiple people, you will need the name, email address, and CACTUS number of each attendee to complete the process. You will also have to fill out an order form online for each person. You will need to be able to answer the questions asked on the order form.

What are the fees and rates of registration? The cost of the conference will be $50.00 (for a two day conference) plus Eventbrite processing fees of $2.28 for a total of $52.28 per person.

What is the fee added to the registration price? These are processing and credit card fees from Eventbrite.

What credit will be available at the conference? USBE credit and relicensure points will be offered at the Summer Conference. Attendees will be able to earn up to 1.0 USBE credits OR up to16.0 relicensure points (1 point per hour) for attending. Per USBE Rule (R277-519-4-1b) those seeking USBE credit must complete a 4-hour assigned learning task or reflection.
