This one-day course provides a comprehensive introduction to weld symbols and basic welding concepts. It equips participants with the foundational skills needed to interpret welding drawings and effectively communicate welding requirements in both field and shop settings. Key topics include the purpose and interpretation of weld symbols, types of welds and their applications, welding terminology, joint configurations, and the importance of tolerances, dimensions, and related annotations.
