What is the Welcome to the Watershed Series?

The Escondido Creek Conservancy hosts their Welcome to the Watershed Series once monthly from October-June, usually on the 1st Saturday of the month. The activity changes every time, but we typically host beginner's birding, easy to advanced hikes, nature photography, and more!

What should I wear to this event?

We recommend that you wear long-sleeves, long-pants, good hiking shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Bring a water bottle and a light snack too!

About Our Welcome to the Watershed Series

Our Welcome to the Watershed Series is an opportunity for the community to enjoy nature and learn about the work the Conservancy is doing to protect special places throughout the Escondido Creek Watershed. Sometimes we visit properties for a morning hike to share our plans to protect the area for conservation. Othertimes we have experts in nature photography or birding share their knowledge at one of our nature preserves. We hope you can join us!
