Join the sculptor family of Red Celt Stone, as we travel the Pacific Northwest, teaching stone sculpting workshops in scenic, memorable locations, like lavender farms of Sequim, vineyards of Puget Sound, historic towns and places of natural wonder!

Our first stop - B&B Family Lavender Farm. 

What To Expect:

Two days of relaxed and insightful education in the ancient art of stone carving!

Day One, we will go over basic technique, proper hand position, types of stone and the correct tools.

We'll talk history, theory, geology; everything stone!

You will decide on your project and learn how to prepare your stone for it.

Day Two, create!

Today you will put into practice what you have learned, with all the advice you'll need along the way. At the end of the day, you'll take your masterpiece home!

What To Bring:

Comfortable shoes and clothing, consider a shade hat if you are sensitive to the sun.

A cooler with your drinks, lunch, and protein snacks. (We will provide a cooler of bottled water at no charge)

A great attitude and prepare to have fun!

The Details:

The workshop will be Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 4pm each day, with about 30 minutes for lunch around Noon.

No experience necessary!

All you will need will be provided. Individual, sturdy work tables, hand chisels, a hammer, pencils and safety glasses. 

Project printouts and transfer paper if you choose a preplanned project.

We will provide a shade tent for at least part of the workshop area, and folding chairs. You may want to bring a shade hat for at least part of the day if you are sensitive to the sun.

Stone tables and carving tools will be available for purchase after the class.
