ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Well Campus Ministries made a bold move. It moved from the parish hall of a supporting church into the heart of campus life: a conference room in the LGBTQ+ center.

Overnight, the ministry became more accessible than ever, yet with this relocation came a fresh challenge: How to create sacred space in a place not designed for worship?

Join us as we dive into the art of crafting holy experiences on the go, designing meaningful rituals, cultivating a sense of sacred space, and making way for the Holy in temporary and nonreligious spaces.

Wednesday Workshops are presented by Forma and Lifelong Learning team at Virginia Theological Seminary and are designed to equip ministry leaders with practical tools and techniques for effective ministry.

SOBRE EL PROGRAMA

The Well Campus Ministries dio un paso audaz: del salón parroquial de una iglesia de apoyo al corazón de la vida universitaria: una sala de conferencias en el centro LGBTQ+. De la noche a la mañana, el ministerio se hizo más accesible que nunca, pero con este cambio surgió un nuevo reto: ¿Cómo creamos un espacio sagrado en un lugar no construido para el culto? Acompáñanos mientras nos sumergimos en el arte de crear experiencias sagradas sobre la marcha: diseñar rituales significativos, cultivar un sentido de espacio sagrado y dar paso a lo sagrado en espacios temporales y no religiosos.

Los talleres de los miércoles son presentados por el equipo de Forma y Lifelong Learning del Seminario Teológico de Virginia y están diseñados para equipar a los líderes ministeriales con herramientas y técnicas prácticas para un ministerio eficaz.

Juniper LaNunziata (they/them) is the Campus Minister for The Well Episcopal-Lutheran Campus Ministries of Greenville, NC. Juniper is a postulant for holy orders in the Diocese of East Carolina, and a seminarian at Church Divinity School of the Pacific. They are a longtime baker of bread, Virginia opossum super fan, and a regular beginner of new hobbies (with varying degress of follow-through.)
