The Virtual ERP Experience: The Scheduler/Dispatcher in an Aviation ERP Event

Overview

This course will take an in-depth look into response methodology and activities on the aviation frontend. This interactive session talks in-depth about Awareness, Confirmation and ERP Activation during the first 30 minutes of an ERP triggering event. Topics such as identifying where FAA (flight plan) and USAF S&R (ELT) calls should be routed to, methodology and technology to ensure enhanced situational awareness, event confirmation tools and timelines, process development for activation of initial teams and data gathering in a response situation will be discussed in-depth.

Objectives

  • Gain an understanding of the primary sources of awareness of an irregular operation impacting your flight department, including automated systems and manual processes.

  • Develop awareness of the activities needed to support rapid and accurate confirmation of an event.

  • Discuss methodology to ensure the most appropriate resources are notified internally.
