Webinar on Compiling and Submitting PIT Data

This session will focus on compiling results and reporting the HUD Point-in-Time (PIT) homeless count and will include the following topics:

• Compiling the results from both the Regional Command Center and other sources, which can include aggregating the Unsheltered PIT results with shelter counts from HMIS.
• Data Quality checks.
• Extrapolation & Sampling.
• Getting the PIT report submitted to HUD (and navigating the uncertain submission dates).
• Submitting your data to Simtech if you've elected to go with dashboard and/or formal PIT reports.
• Using our tools such as the PIT File Generation Tool to generate results from different data sources.
• Submitting the count results to HUDHDX.

We will walk through the creation of the HUD PIT report and demonstrate how to take advantage of the survey export and the updated "PIT Results File" while leaving time for questions and answers. For more details on the PIT Results File Generation Tool, click here.
