Description

Are you interested in sharing the successes and challenges your community faces in integrating newcomers at the local level? Are you interested in gaining an international perspective on refugee and immigrant integration?

Join Cultural Vistas, the Heinrich Böll Foundation, and Welcoming America for a webinar on the Welcoming Communities Transatlantic Exchange (WCTE). The WCTE program brings together integration practitioners (individuals working to integrate refugees and immigrants at the local level) from the United States and Germany to share best practices, challenges, and exchange innovative ideas on ways to help their communities become more welcoming and open.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

  • What is the WCTE program? When will it take place in 2018?
  • What is expected of communities participating in the exchange? What can your community gain from participating?
  • Who are the right 4-5 individuals that should be selected to represent your community in the exchange?
  • How can your community put together a strong, competitive application?
  • Any additional questions you have about WCTE

For more information on WCTE, please visit www.culturalvistas.org/wcte.

There is no cost to participate in this webinar. Upon registration, you will be provided with a URL through which the webinar can be accessed.

We look forward to your participation and to answering any questions you have about the WCTE program!
