KANSAS CITY AREA’S ONLY OFFICIAL PGA TOUR EVENT
During the week of July 24th-30th, over 35,000 spectators will descend on the Nicklaus Golf Club at LionsGate in Overland Park, KS to watch past and future PGA TOUR players compete in our own backyard!


Web.com Tour players from across the country and around the world will compete over four days of tournament play, striving to earn their spot on golf’s greatest stage, the PGA TOUR. The Digital Ally Open is one of only 27 Web.com Tour events in the U.S. and abroad that make up the only road professionals have to earn a coveted spot on the PGA TOUR.


Three out of every four players on the PGA TOUR started their careers on the Web.com Tour. Alumni include Ernie Els, Jim Furyk, David Duval, John Daly, Jason Dufner, Keegan Bradley, Zach Johnson, and Bubba Watson just to name a few.


The tournament’s host organization is the Kansas City Crusaders, a volunteer group of community leaders who are passionate about golf and raising money for charity. S.A.F.E., C.O.P.S., National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and Children’s Mercy Hospital are our primary beneficiaries of the tournament, receiving all net proceeds from the event.

Additionally, 100% of the ticket price of all Daily and Weekly Gounds Passes purchased online goes to the charity of your choice.

The Digital Ally Open is a professional golf tournament that is part of the PGA TOUR’s Web.com Tour. The Digital Ally Open was added to the Web.com Tour in December 2011. This will be the fifth year for the Digital Ally Open and will feature a field of 156­ players.

Initially, the Tournament held title the Midwest Classic. The Tournament became the Digital Ally Open in 2015 when Digital Ally, Inc. came on as the title sponsor.

What is the Web.com Tour and how is it related to the PGA TOUR?

The Web.com Tour is the official proving ground for future PGA TOUR champions. Some of the world’s best players ­ including Jim Furyk, Ernie Els, Jason Day, Tom Lehman, Bubba Watson and Zach Johnson ­ sharpened their skills on the Web.com Tour before winning major championships on the PGA TOUR.

The overall purse is $650,000.

How do I get tickets for the event and how much do they cost?

You can buy tickets through the Tickets FORE Charity program. The rest is easy. Weekly Grounds passes ($25) are good for the entire week of the tournament. Daily Ground passes ($10) are good for one day of the tournament. Free admission to kids 14 and under.
