"We Are Gathered" with Tarell Alvin McCraney '07 MFA

Join the Yale Club of Washington, DC at Arena Stage on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 7:30pm for a performance of We Are Gathered. Tickets are $50. Arena Stage will also host a post-show conversation about the play.This new contemporary twist on Shakespearean wedding plays is written by Yale alum Tarell Alvin McCraney ('07 Drama). McCraney is the Chair and Professor in the Practice of Playwriting at the School of Drama, and is the Yale Repertory Theatre Playwright-in-Residence. He received an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for his 2016 film Moonlight.
