Join WCREW on Tuesday, August 12th for an exclusive behind-the-scenes hard hat tour of Northwestern Mutual’s new construction project. Explore the site, gain insights into the design and development, and network with fellow CRE professionals.

Event Timeline

  • 3:30 PM – Registration & Check-In Opens. Location: Gate 1 (Cass & Wells – Across from Buckley’s Restaurant)
  • 3:50 PM – Final Arrival Time (please arrive by this time)
  • 4:00 PM – Tour Departs
  • 4:45 PM – Tour Concludes
  • 4:45–5:00 PM – Q&A + Return of Borrowed PPE (if applicable)
  • 5:00 PM – After-Tour Networking at Pufferfish - 411 E Mason St, 6th Floor, MKE (Cash Bar)

Arrival & Parking Instructions

Check-in begins at 3:30 PM at Gate 1 (Cass & Wells – Across from Buckley’s Restaurant).Please arrive by 3:50 PMthe tour will leave promptly at 4:00 PM.

Nearby street parking and paid parking options include:

  • Museum Parking Garage
  • Gas Light Parking Garage
  • Cathedral Square Parking Garage

Expect a short 1–3 block walk from these garages to the tour site.

PPE Requirements

This is an active construction site. Proper PPE is required to participate.WCREW members are encouraged to bring their own gear, as the site has limited PPE for visitors.

Important: If you do not meet these PPE requirements listed below, you will not be able to participate in the tour.

Required PPE:

  1. Safety helmet with chin strap (chin strap required).
  2. High-visibility vest.
  3. Safety glasses (standard or over-glasses).
  4. Cut-level 4 (or higher) resistant gloves.
  5. Full-length pants (no skirts or dresses).
  6. Safety-toe boots (composite or steel).
  • After-hours tours allow sturdy hiking or work boots.
  • No sneakers, flats, sandals, or open-toe shoes
