Camping

Limited camping is also available for the weekend for $10 per person (Friday and/or Saturday night). We have fewer camping spots than overall competition spots, so be sure to register for camping ASAP! Once we're filled up, we're filled up!

Camping is available for Friday and Saturday night.

Volunteers

We're also looking for volunteers to support this event! If any of the following sound like you, sign up and help support the WCA in our largest event of the year. All volunteers receive free camping for the weekend.

  • Photography - If you have an eye and an interest in taking photos, we'd love to have them for future use! All photographers will be given credit whenever their media is used for WCA purposes.
  • Parking - Help us direct competitors to appropriate parking places.
  • Tear-Down - Hang out after the comp ends at 5 p.m. and help us tear down.
  • Camp Chief - You love camping. You love heading to Governor Dodge early on Friday to be first to the campgrounds to get everything checked-in. We love you for loving this job!
  • First Aid - We are working to have local EMS on site during the competition, but if you have a certified first aid, wilderness first aid or similar credential and are willing to be our go-to peeps for minor cuts and bruises or waiting for EMS in an emergency, we'd appreciate the hand. You can still compete, but would be pulled away from the competition if needed.
