Overview

Paint cozy watercolor pumpkins in this fun, beginner-friendly live Zoom class with artist Rachel Gering!

Hello everybody,

I’m Rachel, a professional landscape painter with a BFA in Painting & Drawing. I’ve taught many students of all ages and I truly believe everyone has the potential to create something beautiful.

In this live online workshop, we’ll paint watercolor pumpkins step-by-step. Whether you’re totally new to painting or already have some experience, this session is designed to help you explore art, loosen up your brushstrokes, and have fun in a supportive, relaxed setting.

Here’s what we’ll cover:

  • Setting up your workspace and supplies (watercolor paints, paper, basic tools)
  • Basic watercolor techniques (wash, layering, blending)
  • Creating a simple pumpkin layout with light & shadow
  • Adding color, texture, and a little creative flourish
  • A short “playtime” segment at the end for you to experiment your own way

What you’ll walk away with:

  • A finished watercolor pumpkin painting you’re proud of
  • Clear understanding of foundational watercolor skills
  • More confidence to continue exploring painting and making art
  • A recording of the workshop to replay at your convenience
