Week 4 - Bringing It All Together

Goal: Create your first finished painting.

• Composition basics (rule of thirds, focal points)

• Choosing a subject you enjoy (landscape, floral, or still life)

• Adding final touches and details without overworking

• Tips for fixing mistakes and embracing watercolors unpredictability

By the end, students will:

• Understand watercolor basics

• Be able to control washes and layering

• Paint simple florals, objects, and landscapes

• Complete a finished painting they can be proud of
