- In this course, students will learn to safely and effectively operate and maintain drinking water plants. Information is presented on drinking water regulations, fluoridation, instrumentation, and advanced lab procedures. Administrative procedures for dealing with budgeting, setting rates, record keeping, personnel administration, public relations, and emergency planning are also covered in this course. Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3 are required before taking the State's Class "C" Water Treatment License Exam.
