About the Location:

We will be taking over 'CrossFit Santa Monica' for the afternoon —a large open space gym facility located on Main Street in Santa Monica. A prime location on the Westside of LA just a few blocks from Venice and the beach!

• Learn the foundations of Inversion (Handstands) as well as the essential CORE strength and Mobility requirements needed to help you safely progress your handstand practice and give you more control over your body

• Our coaches will take you through essential progressions to elevate your practice and understanding of hand-balancing

• Part of this experience will also be learning some of the essential coaching cues to evaluate others as well

• This unique blend of Mobility, Strength, and Balance education is not just for those interested in doing a handstand, but is for anyone that wants to have a greater understanding of their body and what it is capable of doing

ABOUT OUR COACHES

Coach Erika | @erika.gasztonyi | Los Angeles

Erika Gasztonyi is an internationally recognized Handbalancing specialist who’s signature inversions have garnered her a worldwide following. However, going upside down is just a part of her expansive skillset, as a strength and conditioning coach she combines the study of Circus/Acrobatics, CrossFit, Weightlifting, Yoga(RYT200), and more, to create a global focus on foundational concepts and movement patterns to help students understand the movement that is unique to their bodies in order to better reach their own individual personalized goals. Perhaps the only thing exceeding Erika's energy and enthusiasm for Handbalancing, Movement, and fitness training, is her love and passion for teaching others.

Vishal Kumar is a Mobility & Movement expert who’s “Fit to be Human” mindset focuses on building quality foundations of strength to promote healthy movement and longevity. His unique approach to strength and conditioning gives students the opportunity to acquire the skills and tools necessary to develop a greater understanding of themselves and how their individual body functions. Beginning with a background in athletics, Exercise Science and Kinesiology, his continued education has combined a wealth of expertise from different philosophies and systems, including CSCS, Functional Anatomy Seminars (FRCms, FRA, Kinstretch), Onnit Academy (Kettlebell, Steel Mace, Durability, Clubbell), Yoga Alliance 200RYT, as well as a student of the Ido Portal Method, making “Coach V” one of the most well-rounded leaders in the health and fitness industry.
