Want Black History At Work? We Can Help With That!
Overview
How can organizations celebrate Black history in a way that feels authentic, meaningful, and relevant—without becoming performative or overwhelming internal teams?
This session offers a clear path forward.
Want Black History at Work? We Can Help With That is a 30-minute, interactive learning experience designed to show HR leaders, ERG organizers, DEI practitioners, and People & Culture teams exactly how to bring Black cultural education into the workplace in a way that employees genuinely appreciate.
Drawing on years of experience delivering virtual Black History programs to companies across the country, this event focuses on practical approaches that blend truth-telling, cultural context, and engaging content to create meaningful learning moments for teams of all sizes. We emphasize how historical understanding strengthens connection, belonging, and workplace culture—especially during Kwanzaa, MLK Day, and Black History Month.
THE TIME IS NOW
• With the holiday season approaching, would your team benefit from learning about Kwanzaa- An African American harvest celebration established in 1964?
• MLK Day is coming up in January, do you have a way for your team to celebrate and learn about Dr. King?
• February is Black History month, it's not too early to start planning ways to honor the achievements and contributions Black people have made to our society.
