What shoes should I wear?

You can wear dance shoes if you have them. We also sell dance shoes at the studio. If you don’t have dance shoes, you may wear sneakers, tennis shoes, or flats. Please avoid flip-flops and open-heel shoes for safety reasons.

What should I wear?

Comfortable but elegant clothing is recommended. Please avoid beachwear and gym clothes.

Do I need a partner?

No partner is needed! This class is designed for solo dancers.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and get settled.

Who can join?

The class is open to everyone ages 15 and up.

Do I need experience?

No dance experience is necessary—this class is beginner-friendly!

What dances will we be dancing?

We focus on American Smooth dances: Waltz, Tango, and Foxtrot. Depending on the teacher’s plan, the class may include all three or concentrate on one dance per session.
