WALTZ GROUP CLASS Beginning Level (6 Week Progressive Course)

WALTZ I (BEGINNER) Group Class – 6 WeeksTHURSDAYS at 8pm – commencing on THURSDAY, JULY 31st, 20256 consecutive Tuesdays at 8pm (last session on SEPT. 4th)

Cost:$89 per Person for 6 Weeks (1 person)$178 per Person for 6 Weeks (couple)

👞👠 Shoes/Clothing - clothing should comfortable and suitable for dancing/moving; please bring a change of clean/dry shoes (not worn outside); if you don't have dance shoes yet, dress shoes are best; typical tennis shoes are worst (they stick to the dance floor and prevent your feet from pivoting/turning).

CLASS LEVEL (BEGINNING):We will teach technique, fundamental steps and all the essentials for beginning Waltz. A partner is not required, we regularly rotate students during the class. This class is perfect for both individuals and couples who are beginners or have no prior dance experience.

--------Waltz is a smooth progressive dance characterized by long, flowing movements, continuous turns, and rise & fall. Graceful and elegant, Waltz dancers glide around the floor almost effortlessly. At 28-30 measures per minute, the tempo is slow at best, but the expressive quality of the music often invites very powerful and dynamic movement from dancers.
