Wall hanging workshop

This workshop is your gateway to a world of creative expression. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, this hands-on workshop will guide you in creating a unique textile wall hanging. No prior experience is necessary.

During this five-hour session, you will learn:

* Fabric and material manipulation techniques, including working with scraps, threads, and yarns.

* Various hand embroidery techniques.

* How to incorporate unconventional and recycled materials.

Think about the wall hanging you envision – what colors, textures, and materials inspire you? Bring your ideas and creativity to the workshop, and I'll be happy to guide you on this exciting creative journey.

Feel free to bring any items you'd like to include in your piece, such as fabric, metal components, wood pieces, jewelry, or mementos.

Location: FAVO Art Village Studio 238

To reach the studio, turn north on Highland Avenue from Colonial Drive, and enter the parking lot (second driveway on the left). There is a sign that says "Park Lake Presbyterian Church, FAVO Art Studios". When you enter the parking lot turn right and then left at the rear of the lot, continue through the driveway connecting to a second parking lot. FAVO building is the L-shaped two story building. Class is upstairs at studio 238.

Class is limited to 6 attendees.

The workshop is five hours. Bring a snack. We'll have a short break in the middle.
