Our walking club is FREE to join and is open to the public.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with our walking club, in an effort to promote healthier active lifestyles for the residents of Washington County, Rose Hill Cemetery began a free-form walking club 5 years ago. Rose Hill is a beautiful and safe place to exercise which is ideal for families and friends to walk together.
Visit when you want and record the miles walked at our outdoor podium. We'll tally up the miles and give prizes for reaching each MILEstone! The more you walk, the more you win. Prizes will be awarded at 10, 25 and 50 miles.
It's called a walking club, but if your physical activity level is beyond walking and running is your thing, you're invited too! Just let us know and we can adjust your MILEstone prizes to a higher level to keep you motivated. The season runs between June 2nd and September 30th, so sign up and get active.

As part of the registration process walkers must complete a waiver - one can be emailed to you upon request or signed at the office.

Walk at the property whenever you want (only miles walked on cemetery property count towards your total).

Self report your miles at the reporting podium next to the office for after office hours visits or stop in the office during office hours to record your miles and pick up a free bottle of water to rehydrate.

Maps of walking routes will be available at the office with routes up to 2 miles long.
