Place: Central Park Playground, Malvern East - the playground and parking is located on Kingston Street Malvern East.
This Sunday we’re meeting at Central Park Playground – a cute hidden gem on the side of Central Park Gardens. It’s perfect for toddlers, with a brand-new fully fenced play area offering a safe space to explore. Expect sandpits, cubbies, a trampoline, swings, a slide, and a spinner to keep little ones busy. Kids can also look out for magical “discovery nodes” tucked into the trees and paths, encouraging them to touch, smell, and connect with nature.
For older children, there’s another partly-fenced playground nearby with rope climbing, swings, and more adventurous fun. The park itself is a lovely spot for a family wander, with flowers, a water fountain, and plenty of open space for the pooches.

- Coffee & Soul (126 Burke Rd, Malvern East) – an easy stroll through the park from the playground.
- Other local cafes along Burke Road are also great pre- or post-play stops.
